Privacy Policy

Short version: Tripkeep collects no data. Your photos and videos are read and organized entirely on your iPhone. Nothing is uploaded to us or to anyone else, and nothing about you is tracked.

This policy explains how the Tripkeep app ("Tripkeep", "we", "us") handles your information. It applies to the Tripkeep iPhone app. Tripkeep is provided by bybowu LLC.

What we collect

Nothing. Tripkeep has no server, no accounts, and no analytics that leave your device. In Apple's App Privacy terms, Tripkeep is Data Not Collected.

How your photos are handled

Tripkeep accesses your photo library only through Apple's PhotoKit, and only after you grant permission. You can choose full access or select specific photos.
All sorting, album creation, duplicate and blur detection, and recap generation happen on your device. Your photos are never uploaded, copied to a server, or sent to any third party.
Tripkeep never deletes anything on its own. Removing photos always goes through the system's own confirmation dialog, and deleted photos remain recoverable in Recently Deleted for 30 days.
If a photo is stored in iCloud, iOS may download it from your own iCloud account so the app can display it. That transfer is between Apple and your device — Tripkeep operates on your own photos on your own device.

Analytics and tracking

Tripkeep does not track you and does not use third-party analytics or advertising SDKs. Any usage signals the app records are written only to the device's local system log to help diagnose issues; they do not leave your phone, and you can turn them off under Profile → Privacy → Anonymous analytics. Tripkeep does not use the Advertising Identifier and performs no cross-app or cross-site tracking.

Data stored on your device

Tripkeep saves your sorting progress, album records, and settings locally on your iPhone (using on-device storage and Apple PhotoKit). This information stays on your device. Deleting the app removes Tripkeep's local data; albums it created in the Photos app remain in Photos unless you remove them there.

Purchases

Tripkeep Pro is sold through Apple's In-App Purchase. Payments and subscription management are handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy; Tripkeep does not see or store your payment details.

Children

Tripkeep is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If we change how Tripkeep handles information, we'll update this page and its "last updated" date. If a future version ever introduces off-device analytics, we will update this policy and Apple's App Privacy details before that version ships, and any such analytics would remain optional.
